Knauf

Knauf is a manufacturer of plasterboard, also known as drywall or wallboard. Plasterboard is a type of building material made from gypsum, a soft mineral ground into a fine powder. The gypsum is combined with water and other additives to form a slurry, which is then sandwiched between two layers of paper to form a panel.

Knauf is a global leader in the production of plasterboard and other building materials. They make plasterboard for a variety of applications, such as standard plasterboard for walls and ceilings, moisture-resistant plasterboard for bathrooms and other wet areas, and fire-resistant plasterboard for use in high-risk areas. Plaster, joint compound, insulation, and steel framing systems are among the other products manufactured by Knauf.
